About us

Our names are Adam & Jonathan Korman.

Kate Korman was our mother. When Arizona Public Service cut off her electricity in May 2024, the Arizona heat killed her within a few days. We didn’t even know about the bill until she was dead and we were in her house trying to figure out why the lights didn’t work and it was hot as an oven in there.

In the ’00s we moved our father into an apartment across the street from Jonathan for the last few years of his life when his health was failing. Of course we now wish we had been there for our mother the same way. She was stubborn and independent, which made a lot of things difficult, but we also admired her for it.

Some people don’t have family to watch over them at all. They deserve to live. So for our mother and for them, we are telling her story.
